How to get out offlashing box

You have lost your boot volume. Either the Hardware (HD) or the software (System Folder) is damaged or missing. You should be able to boot from your install or hardware test CD and repair the drive software (directory) or reinstall the OS if there's space on the drive.

Of course if you're not careful you can lose all your data with an improper OS install.
