Playstation 3 CECH-2101A dual voltage?
Is the US Playstation 3 model CECH-2101A dual voltage? I saw your CECH-2001A teardown and would like to know if the same applies to this model which I would like to use with 220v. Thanks

Problem solved! I've just turned on my PS3! It's working fine! I took a deep breath and plugged it on the 220v outlet. Now I can enjoy my games! The PS3 is in fact dual voltage.

I have the following PS3 - CECH 2101A which only read 120V ~ 2.1A 60Hz
Can this be plugged directly into a 220v outlet.

Tudo bem, Neto? Meu nome é Thiago e respondi a essa questão lá em cima. Comprei um PS3 Slim 120GB nos EUA e me deparei com o mesmo problema quando cheguei aqui no Brasil. Pesquisei muito até decidir espetar o bicho na tomada. Pra minha alegria ele funcionou sem problemas e segue assim até hoje, já faz mais de um mês.

@Andrew & @Thaigo. Are you ps3 slim 120V (CECH-2101A) still working while connected 220V??
(without any step up/step down transformer)

Problem solved!!! This model is dual voltage even though the outside case and intructions read 110v.
