Logic Board Swap for different version
I have a 15" 2.0ghz i7 A1286 logic board thats failed they seem to be as rare as hens teeth and they seem to be over £800 for a refurb one!!!
Can i use a A1286 15" 2.4GHz i5 logic board as a swap?

Yes - any of these will fit (5 different boards) look at compatibility. You can't cross years but within a year (generally) the boards are just "customizations or upgrades off the base -lowest- logic board).
