Put a new screen on, worked fine, but screen had dead pixels. changed it again, now only shows red itunes logo. tried restoring with two different computers, two different cables, and in and out of DFU mode. Itunes is updated. help?

did the restore fail or succeed? if it succeeded, it sounds like the home button is pushed down and the phone is booting to recovery mode.

failed. error 3 most of the time
look closely at the board near the battery connector, dock connector, lcd/cameras connector----see if you can find any 'fingernail damage' to the board
Seriously cant find any. even compared to a perfect board and they seem identical.
ok, and make sure to look under the black sticker at dock connector. Try putting the board in a known good housing and see if it will solve.
