Why don't my home and back keys work anymore?

Samsung Galaxy 2 phone - USB port died so I re-soldered the 8 metal strips back onto the USB port, put the phone back together. It charges fine but Home and Back buttons don't work anymore. Does anyone know what component controls those buttons?

I suppose the home button flex need to connect with the USB board. So check if you have connected home button flex connector with USB board.
