Display not working after proximity sensor replaced.

I replaced the proximity sensor on my iPhone 5s, and now the display won't come on. I've check all cables and they're seated properly.

I've used a Volt Meter to measure currency from the battery, ac adapter, and the display connector as well. All around 3.8-4.3v except for the second connector on the display. The long one. I can't seem to get more than .5v from it. (Not sure if that's it)

Nothing has happened to the screen while I've been working on it. No extreme pressure applied either. Even then, I think it would just make colors show up.

I've also tried without the sensor plugged in to make sure the replacement wasn't drawing too much current or anything for that matter.

Hi Phillip,

You should first try a hard reset by holding both the power button and home button togather , Untill the phone turns off and restarts. If that fails then the best thing to do would be to try out a new lcd, to see if the flex has been damaged, the flex on the lcd is very fragile so it's likely to break.

If a new lcd doesn't help then the issue would be logic board related and would require a replacment or component level soldering skills.

Hope this helps
