iPhone won't charge unless completely dead first.

It's a shame how there are no answers. I just got off so many websites and forums. Even Apple. But eventually found a solution TO FIX THIS PROBLEM hold down the home button and lock button at the same time until the screen goes blank. This completely shuts down your phone as if you were taking the batter out of it (note: do this next step before apple logo shows up) Now plug it into a charger and when it comes back on it should still be charging. It's called a reboot and it Worked for my daughters iPhone 4 Hope this helps anyone viewing this! Good luck!
