My S2 won't turn on after being left off for a while?

I have a galaxy Sll i9100.

*The last time this phone was in use its screen wasn't working i would get messages, i could call it and it would ring but there was no display on the screen, the home button & touchpad* would light up.

*As the parts were really expensive to repair i have decided to leave it off and now the phone won't turn on at all.

*The front screen has no cracks, however the layer inside has quite a few cracks.

• I have put it on charge for quite a bit - No luck!

Any ideas/help would be really appreciated.
