MacBook Pro 's battery won't charge

The more complete the description of your problem is (what OS you're using -there's a lot of those too, some history (has it been wet, dropped or crushed), a full compete description, the text or screen shot of any error messages) the more assistance we can provide, and, the sooner we can provide it..

FWIW batteries go dead over time and wont charge... especially if they have been roughly used (left charging for long periods of time, or, run flat too many times). I had a strange acting machine that had been squeezed in an overhead bin on an airplane and it cracked - you couldn't see the crack until you lifted the the battery out of the machine, picking up the machine by one corner would cause it to not work, work.

A going on 5 yr old battery could need replacement... same with automobiles... OEM batteries do not last forever.
