Why is the DVD not loading?
When I insert the DVD, the DVD player is not responding. I see a blue screen.

Typically when your DVD isn't loading your disc or the laser that is reading the disc is either scratched or dirty. Try using a different disc. If the DVD still doesn't load, you might have to replace your laser. See the repair guide on how to dismantle the DVD player in order to get to the laser.
