I spilled hot chocolate on my computer and the felt became hard and would not eject my disc so I took it apart and removed the stuck disc. Now my computer I guess thinks there is still a cd in the drive because I physically can't insert a cd into the drive because something is blocking it.

Try resetting the SMC to see if that helps. If not it sounds like you got spillage into the drive and will need to replace the drive.
