From EveryMac - Apple does not intend for one to upgrade the storage after purchase, but it is quite possible. As first reported by AnandTech, this model uses a PCIe-based SSD rather than a SATA-connected one. Specifically, it uses a custom Apple design with a "PCIe 2.0 x2 interface, capable of a theoretical maximum of 1 GB/s in each direction."

At this time some units have been shown at the trade shows. But not quite available to buy. I would monitor OWC as they seem to be the closest in getting parts out.
