My iPhone 5 kills battery

Hello! Just got a dead iphone 5 from a friend. Its not very old and almost unused. First thing i did was to change the battery, and it worked 100% after.

The next day after i woke up its completly dead again. Same problem. I try another new battery and it works again. But same story again, next day its all dead again.

Tried with charging it for a long time, it doesnt charge after it died, also connecting it to the computet doesnt work.

It simply kills batteries....

I have fixed many iphones, but this problem is expensive and unstandable...

Hi there I have been seeing a number of posts about iPhone 5 battery life and charging issues after a new battery of charging port and it's getting worse.. I have no solution but asking any1 that might no the problem.. Either motherboard related or grounding issues any help is appreciated

The battery life or charging issue is not the problem i think, I've tried 4-5 batteries now, and after some hours connected and by me using the phone they all DIE. And they do not work in other iphones afterwards.

I've tried to change the charging module and the power\volume button flex cables.

All the batteries worked in other iphones, after i put them in The bad Iphone5, they all dont work after. Its not the batteries, I have 5 Iphone 5 batteries from different persons.

You phone seems to be short circuiting them in some way then..

Was there any other repairs on the phone before the battery?
