Apple's 2012 first-generation 7.9-inch iPad mini, with 16, 32, or 64 GB of storage and an A5 processor.

Display not working after replacement

I just replaced the display. I plugged it in and it worked. Removed it, installed the digitizer and replugged the display and now the display won't come on

Try a reset. Hold down the power button and the home button simultaneously until you see the apple logo. If this doesn't work, you likely blew a fuse. You can google the fuse locations and replace it or bridge it with a bit of solder. Good luck!

Hi,

Wait until the battery is discharged. This can happen if you remove the display before power off the device.

Regards.
