The touchpad and the keyboard doesn't work sometimes. Especially after shut it down and move from one place to another in a carrying bag (home to school or school to home). I tried to remove the battery and wipe or touch the wires on the bag, it started to work again after that. Sometimes I have to try many times to have it work. It is very frustrated with this. Any suggestion.

I would open it up and re-seat the connector to the logic board. Place a small piece of electrical tape on it to hold in place. If this connection is not firmly seated, it will cause erratic keyboard behavior. Here's how to do it: MacBook Pro 15" Core Duo Model A1150 Keyboard Replacement

Unfortunately this sounds like a dying trackpad cicuit board. The only remendy i came across up til now is to change the entire topcase. The keyboard itself should be alright, but since key and trackpad input is processed by this board the keys seem to fail too.
This is rather common with these MBPs.

I am having the same problem but I'm wondering if replacing the keyboard solves it. Also, the instructions on this site don't refer specifically to the ribbon cable.
In addition, in trying to fix the ribbon cable, I had the small ribbon cable on the opposite side in these pictures fall off. I don't know what it does and it doesn't seem to have affected anything but I also don't know how to get it back on. Any suggestions?

Is it not possible to replace the trackpad and keyboard individually? I know you can install the keyboard, but the trackpad?
