Has any one any tips for plugging in the connector on the short ribbon at the top for the front screen? Its the last thing ive to do.
Should it 'click' in? has anyone else had this problem?
Im starting to think the connector is damaged but nothing looks obvious.

If you're referring to the digitizer cable, it's a bugger to get in there. Try to get the mother board up from the chassis as much as possible but watch out for the ribbon cable. I usually try to line up the copper tape with the top of the connector then pinch the connector into place. Be patient and persistent, it will get in there.
