Hi,
I replaced my hard drive (2nd time) to a new a SSD. When I put the Mini back together I cannot get to boot. Not power at all. I've checked all connectors. It's like it completely died!. Am I missing something? What's the most basic setup needed to power on?

Well, you could disconnect the HD to see if for some reason it's bad.
Bricked systems are always tricky to diagnose without a schematic and a good DVM to test out voltages.
For now disconnecting the subassemblies (HD, memory, optical drive) to remove them from the picture while limited is all one can do without having a working spare system to swap parts out with, and no access to schematics & DVM.
