Keyboard Popping Up From Casing By "Esc" Key

Hello,

I have a Compaq Presario CQ60-211DX and the keyboard is popping up from the casing. Specifically right by the "esc" key. I can press it back down into place and hear it click but eventually it pops back up again and is raised a few millimeters from the rest of the case.

It does not affect the functionality, it seems to be just cosmetic but it is beyond annoying. I'm not exactly "tech-savvy" but I've been contemplating trying to take the keyboard out and possibly "bend" that corner so that it concaves down instead of popping up. What are the keys mounted on? Stainless Steel?

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

There is a clip to the left and right side of the keyboard. This clip hold the keyboard down along with the screws on the bottom. It is likely the clip has worn away and that would be why it keeps coming up. You would most likely need a new top cover to fix that but I would just get some adhesive to hold it down.
