Hi I have macbook pro 15" from 2011. I followed ifixit guids to replace upper case, lcd screen (to high res matte) Afterwards, macbook will not sleep when lid closed, but will sleep when magnet run along side of macbook. Anyone have idea how to fix? I tried reformatting hard drive and di not work; so I assume something wrong with the magnet in the lcd.

You'll need to open the display assembly again to locate the magnet as it slipped from the proper location (or missing). Try passing a magnet along the lid edge to locate the magnet.
