Does anyone have any recommendations on how to replace the battery receptor or create a hinge to lock the battery in place on a Mac Mini 2010. I tried electric tape and just heard it move when I moved it. I also have 2011 model that was given to me because the fan receptor was pulled out. Does anyone know if that can be soldered back down? I appreciate any positive input!

Soldering on logic boards is not a DIY project. It requires special tools, solder & lots and lots of practice... however a local electronics shop may be willing to take that task on for you. They may also have a material or way to secure your battery.
Not every project can be DIY
