@aon9472 check your BIOS settings and see if your BIOS still shows the storage. your computer should not be using a SSD. It uses embedded eMMC. The eMMC "drive" is soldered to the motherboard. It is possible that it may have failed.  You could check [https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/hp-pc-hardware-diagnostics|on here] to see if that helps to diagnose it.
