iPad screen 'ghost touching' even worse after attempted repair
文本:
My iPad would sometimes sporadically ghost touch the screen during use. After searching I tried following the advice on [post|143210]. Unfortunately it seemed to make things worse with the screen now very frequently ghost touching. I also must have not put the home button back on correctly as it won't click when pressed like normal. I put Kapton tape on the edges of the digitizer and then replaced the adhesive pads. I didn't remove the LCD panel so a small part of one of the adhesive pads had to go over the cable connecting the digitizer to the LCD but it didn't look like that would cause an issue. Did I put too much tape on? Is there something else I should have been watching for that could cause worse ghosting? Thanks for the help!
