No matter what you do, you can’t get your tablet to turn on.

It could be as simple as you’ve run out of charge! Plug your tablet into a power outlet with charging cord, give it a few minutes, and see if it comes back on.

Sometimes your tablet’s brightness is set too low to properly see the screen (especially in direct sunlight). Try to find some shade and access your display settings, then raise the brightness.

There may be an issue with your external power button, and how it sends signals to the tablet to wake up. If that’s the case, we’ll need to replace the power button.

Your tablet could have internal damage that keeps it from displaying properly, especially if your screen is cracked. Replacing the screen will take care of that.

Your tablet is on and working, but it isn’t responding to your touch.

Your screen might be too dirty and/or slightly wet, which can disrupt the signal from your fingers to the touch screen. Clean your screen off with a dry cloth.

Your screen might be unresponsive because of an issue with your motherboard. If that’s the case, you’re going to need to replace your tablet.

Your tablet is flashing low battery, you’ve plugged it in, and it’s still flashing low battery.

The problem could be your charge cord itself. Charge cords often lose functionality over their lifetime. Try using a different cord with your tablet to see if it charges.

Over time your charge port can come loose and regularly lose connection to the charge cord. That can be solved by replacing your charge port.

Batteries have a finite lifetime and eventually can no longer carry a charge. It most cases, you can avoid needing a new tablet by replacing your battery.

The song is playing, but the awkward silence continues because no sound is coming from your tablet speakers.

Double check and make sure you don’t have something covering the speaker. It’s easy to cover the speaker with your hand while holding the tablet. Ensure that neither your hands nor any other objects are covering the speakers and that it’s not propped on something in a way that covers the speaker.

Check your volume levels by clicking the volume up/volume down button or accessing your volume settings inside the device.

Especially if you have your tablet connected to another device, the tablet could be confused as to where to send the sound, resulting in no sound at all. Access your audio settings and ensure that your audio is playing through the intended output and not elsewhere.

The volume buttons located on the side of your tablet may not be responsive. They will need to be replaced, but in the meantime, you can change the volume by accessing the audio settings of the device.

Jamming to music as loud as it can get? You may have “blown out” your speaker. Your speaker is broken, and it will need to be replaced.

Check your volume levels by clicking the volume up/volume down button or accessing your volume settings inside the device. Many headphones have buttons to control the output volume as well, check those to ensure your volume is up.

If your headphones aren’t connected correctly, they won’t be able to receive the sound. Unplug and replug the headphones into the headphone jack making sure they’re plugged all the way in and see if that takes care of it.

Your tablet may be sending your sound somewhere other than your headphones, especially if the tablet is plugged into another device. Access your audio settings and ensure that your audio is playing through the intended output and not elsewhere.

The problem may be in your headphone jack. If the headphone jack is faulty, it can no longer transmit audio, but it can be replaced and you’ll be good to go.

The pictures that you take always come out blurry, or you can’t take pictures at all.

It’s very possible that you’ve gotten a “storage full” notification lately. Double check and see how much space is left on your tablet. If you’re out of room, deleting some apps, pictures, or other documents will allow you to take more pictures.

If your camera button is unresponsive, this could be a symptom of unresponsive screen.

Check the lenses on the front and back of the device and ensure no objects or smudges are present.

If you see a crack on either the regular or the front-facing camera, that is likely causing your photography challenges, and you’ll need to replace the lens.

Right about now you’re surfing the net (with 4G, of course) looking for the cheapest unlimited data plan, because you can’t ever connect to Wifi.

Your wifi may be turned off, keeping you from accessing the internet. Access your network settings inside your tablet and turn the WiFi on

Double check that your WiFi network name and password are entered correctly. If you aren’t authorized to access a particular WiFi network, your tablet won’t be able to connect to the internet.

Your network might be experiencing connectivity issues. Restart your router, or, if you cannot access the router, wait some time before attempting to reconnect to the network. It’s also possible that it’s not your fault at all. If you continue to not be able to access your Wifi network, check with your internet provider.

Struggling to keep yourself occupied without your tablet, you read far too many Southern Living magazines in the waiting room at the doctor's office yesterday. Suddenly you’re inspired to bake a really elaborate Easter brunch -- all because your tablet won’t connect to 4G.

Your SIM card might not be properly installed inside the device. Remove the SIM card cover with a paper clip, remove the SIM card, then reinstall it.

If your SIM card has not been activated or has lost activation rights, speak to your mobile data provider to activate or reactivate it.

If your SIM card is broken, call your mobile data provider and arrange to get a new one.

It's possible that your SIM card is perfectly fine, but the trouble is with the SIM card reader. This is pretty unlikely, but if no solution is working, consider replacing the SIM card reader.
