Restart your system
Attempt to force a reboot by holding the power button for 30 seconds. If the reboot does not happen, attempt the reboot while the charger is connected.

Keys are sticky
Your Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 4-1130 keyboard keys are stuck down on the keyboard.
Restart your system
If your keys are unresponsive and nothing happens when you press them, try rebooting your device.
Clean out your keyboard
If some keys are physically remaining down when pressed, this is usually caused by debris getting under the keyboard and acting as a pseudo adhesive between the keys and the bottom of your keyboard. A can of compressed air can be used to dislodge and clean out your keyboard to fix this issue.
Your finger movements on the touchpad are not being tracked properly. This could mean a slow or unmoving mouse on your screen, even as you move on the touchpad.
Reactivate the touchpad
When notebook computers go into sleep mode, hibernate, or an update for the computer occurs, it should keep the touchpad from working properly. If this happens, you should try pressing Fn + F8 on the keyboard. This activates and deactivates the touchpad.
Replace your touchpad
If your touchpad remains unresponsive, you may need to repair or replace your touchpad. A guide to replacing your touchpad can be found here along with more in-depth maintenance instructions. [Insert link to our touchpad repair guide]
Device randomly turning off
Your Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 4-1130 unexpectedly turns off without warning.
Check for overheating
Verify that the fan on the power supply is working by examining the back of the computer. The fan should be moving quickly and smoothly. If you have heard any abnormal noises coming from your computer, such as a high squealing sound, it could be an indication of a fan malfunction.
Check UPS or surge protector
Make sure any surge protector or UPS is not causing the problem by connecting the computer directly to the power outlet on the wall. In the case of the UPS, there may be other issues, such as a UPS overload or UPS drivers, reporting power situations that cause your computer to shut down.
Scan your system
Your computer may be infected with a virus that is designed to shut down your computer upon certain conditions. If the computer seems to be turning off when executing a certain program at specific times of the day, it could be infected. Use your installed antivirus software to run a full system scan.
High memory usage
Sometimes an open program might have a memory leak, using up more and more of your RAM until it eventually forces a shut down. If your Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 4-1130 becomes sluggish over time (usually 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the severity of the leak) and then shuts off. Reboot your system and immediately open your Control Panel, from here, go into processes and look at the memory usage of your open programs. If any one program shows a constantly growing memory usage, exit out of it to end the memory leak and free up your RAM.
