Camcorder Will Not Turn On
The camcorder will not respond or turn on.
Battery Not In Camcorder
Make sure that there is a battery in the camcorder.
See this guide to show you how it is done.
Bad Battery Connection
A common problem with a device not turning on is that the battery is not making a good or proper connection. To clean the connection, dampen a Q-tip in rubbing alcohol. Take the battery out (see this guide) and rub the Q-tip on the contacts of both the camcorder and the battery. Allow both sets of contacts a few minutes to dry before re-installing the battery.
Drained Battery Or Short Battery Life
Make sure that your battery is charged. Plug one end of the charging cable into the camcorder, and the other end into the wall outlet. If the light is blinking, that indicates that the battery is charging. Full charging time is 5 hours, and the light will turn off once the charge is complete.
If the light on the charger does not come on, then you may need a new charger. You can purchase one from Amazon.
If you replace the charger, and your battery still will not hold a charge, then it may be time to replace your battery. You can purchase one from Amazon, and then view this guide to show you how it is done.

I wasted a lot of money on 2 of these camcorders and neither one barely lasted past warranty, if that long. Both have quit working for no apparent reason, on a fully charged battery. I have 3 batteries, that are expensive and neither camera works anymore. One quit while recording from windshield mount while driving and the other quit after turning on for about 3 seconds. Now all I have is 2 expensive pieces of junk and 3 expensive batteries to show for my money. They wont do anything, on USB either.
