I fully charged mine and still nothing after looking up the owner's manual it suggested a reset. Hold the on/off button for 12 seconds, it came back on!

I just want to know what is indicated by a yellow/amber light on the car charger. If a device is built with indicator lights, the manual should tell you what the specific indications are. I can’t determine whether I have a problem with the battery, with the vehicle outlet/flow, with the charger itself (replaced the fuse already w/o effect), or something else…
There is a limit to how much I want to spend guessing what’s wrong versus putting the money toward a new (and possibly non-Garmin) product.
Mine is a 2599LMTHD that worked for almost exactly one year and now won’t turn on. It failed to turn on after removing it from my GM vehicle for use in my GM rental car for a road trip (good timing!); I was about 3 hours away from home when I decided to plug it in and use it for a local stop, but it wouldn’t work.
I do really like Garmin. When it works.
