Hi Joyce Mcvay, Well, I guess Toshiba gave you a correct answer, it is repairable, BUT, price will be high (and could even be higher then a new TV). This is what I would do: Try to open the TV, look for the LCD model number on the back of the LCD. Then, search the internet to find a replacement. Maybe you'll get lucky. Other option is: go searching for a "same model" TV with other malfunctions and exchange the good LCD into your TV. By the way, what happend to your LCD?? Howcome it is broken? Greetz, Pierre.
Hello Costanza, Have you lately (or by accident) changed country or language settings? What kind of keyboard you use (azerty or qwerty)? Try typing your password as if you had the other type of keyboard. Another posibilty: do you use capitals in your password? Pay attention to shift lock... Or, do you use numbers in your password? See for numlock... Did you left your laptop somewhere unattented, so someone could have changed the password?? What operating system are you using? I know there are programs you can run on a bootable usb-stick to recover passwords. Hope this helps.
Hello, What have you done/tried already?? Try this: 1/ Remove adapter and battery, 2/ press power button for 30 seconds. Re-attach adapter but not the battery. Press power button. If laptop works, change your battery. If laptop does not startup, check and messure power adaptor, eventually try another adaptor. If this does not help, messure power at inside powerconnector. Good luck. Greetz, Pierre
