If the phone was hot and now says temperature too low, there is a chance that something was doing a short inside or there is a broken component, maybe you can take a look of the motherboard and see if every single component is there and there is nothing broken or loose.

Steam in the bathroom will go inside of your computer and change his state from gas to liquid. In my shop is a common issue. Don’t let it dry, opened and clean it. Modern MacBook Pros don’t power on without battery, if you are lucky may be is a bad battery only. Same situation with the keyboard, keyboards are really sensitive to liquid and is easy to separate keyboard layers with liquid having keys stooping working, can be a bad keyboard too.
If you put a light close to the screen and you see a image or the icons of your phone, will be a back light Problem, could be for Liquid Damage, Defective Screen or something is bad in your motherboard lik a fuse, resistor etc. I saw the same issue for overheating too.
I will start checking fuses, i was fixing my own car a Jetta 2003 changing something in the door panel and i made a short circuit in some cables. After checking every single fuse my mechanic said that i damaged the ECU(The Compuer) : ( …. He replaced and everything started working. (Hoping that you don’t have the same issue). But you can start checking every Fuse under the hood and inside under the steering wheel.
