Great explanation. I have the iMac late 2013 27” if I replace HDD with SSD and upgrade the OS to Catalina, would I still have the fan issue? Update (03/26/2022): I have installed a Crucial MX500 SSD 1TB in my system without the OWC cable and installed a later macOS Catalina and the internal fan is behaving normally. Well, I’m happy, in short it seems to be working OK
Solved Hi Guys, I had this problem with my iPhone 5s. iTunes was "waiting for iPhone", Phone was working perfectly before I decided to update via iTunes and the problem was the phone would not restart after software extraction. Anyway the problem seemed to be my USB 3 hub which I should point out works perfectly with all other apple products but for some reason iTunes didn't like it while updating or restoring my iPhone 5s. So I plugged the cable directly into the PC' s USB 2 port and it worked fine! Hope this helps someone...
