Hi Mark, I’ve disconnected anynet now and just use the TV speakers which has fixed the issue. I mainly watch Netflix / Prime / YouTube etc through my Apple TV box which goes through my Receiver so the impact is not too bad, but it is however ridiculous that I can’t listen to the TV through my receiver. When 8K TV is cheaper I’ll be switching to another manufacturer.

As Jetson said (and I tried this today and it seems to have solved the issue (which I have lived with for two years!). Go into your settings on the TV and find Anynet (which if 'on' turn 'off'). It solved the problem. The only issue seems to be that I need to manually turn the volume off on the TV because Anynet used to turn the TV volume off automatically when I used my AV receiver. That said, it's lovely to watch TV without the constant breaks in the sound - I am going to report this to Samsung....
