There may be a fault with the battery, with it not holding any charge or an issue with the charging port itself. You could also try using a different charging cable just to rule that being the issue
Have you checked to see that the ribbons are securely plugged into their respective sockets when the screen was replaced? If it didn't click in, it may not be making a solid connection.
