If you use the ‘blue’ opening plastic tool, it will take you forever to ever open your ipod !!!
I guess it is for demo only to make it appear it is indeed very easy to open your ipod.
Actually, it is NOT !
Clear video and tutorial!
But why make the process too long where in fact you can do it fast and simple by directly pulling out the dual sim card reader/slot off the board right after removing the mid-frame cover (after Step 4), and thereafter put in the replacement part?
The 16 steps can be done in just 5 or 6 steps.
Might as well re-title this to: Partial Disassembly of Xperia T2 Ulta Dual.
Nice and clear disassembly instructions.
But Why change the board when the problem is only the power button?
What needs to be replaced is the 'faulty' Power Volume Button Flex Cable.
It will take an experienced phone technician to replace that part.
This should be retitled to Sony Xperia Z Ultra Disassembly - not Screen Replacement - as there was no actual screen replacement that happened!
Replacing an XZU screen is straightforward and quite easy.
Is there no other 'fix' without replacing the lens assembly on this particular "Lens error "issue?
Yes, even without de-soldering/soldering, one can simply cut the two wires then put a jumper wire on re-installation.
I agree with DUSTmurph's, comment.
