To fully accommodate the phone home theater aspect of the Surround, the entire bottom half of the the phone slides out to reveal an impressive speaker array.

The phone also sports a kickstand (a la Evo), presumably so you can set the phone down upright when you want to night-club on the go. Or to watch videos. Whatever.
