简介

I want to show how to open up the headphones. Many headphones have just a broken cable but without knowing how to get in you having a hard time.

  1. first remove the ear cups. They are quite tight so removing feels a bit rough.

    • Pull the cups with two fingers to the side off the speakers.

    • start with one spot and work your way around from there.

    • If they don't come off, try another spot and try again. Then you can see where the screw are and loosen them.

    • repeat for both sides

  2. Now you see three screws on each speaker. Grab your PH1 srew driver and remove them.
    • Now you see three screws on each speaker.

    • Grab your PH1 srew driver and remove them.

    • Carefully pull the speakers out. Check if there are cable hanging. If so grab the plastic bit and pull it out too.

    • They may come out as one speaker module. You see on one side is a venting hole to compensate the pressure during bass heavy music.

  4. Now in the speaker cases in the left side is the lipo battery with a protection circuit under the green tape
    • Now in the speaker cases

    • this protection circuit cuts the power if there is a shorted cable(overcurrent)

    • The PCB next to the battery is just to connect the wires from the other side(power and speaker)

    • Please note this is already in modified state. I changed the wires because the cable was broken in the headphones.
