Computer lost power, wouldn't restart.

Followed the iFixit pictorial guide. Everything went well and the instructions were accurate. The comment someone made about reinstalling the display unit was very helpful. Leave the side and top adhesive tape pull strips on until the two display cables are connected.

I didn't have the special tape cutting tool and used a razor instead. This resulted in some scratching of the black painted surfaces on the backside of the display. I used automotive touchup paint to repair the scratches. I inserted layers of plastic in the cut tape to apply even lift pressure to the display. I also used 2 suction cups to assist with lifting the display. Once the display was lifted, I powered the computer and checked the four LED lamps on the mother board. None were lit which verified my suspicion the Power Supply was faulty. Great time to de-dust the computer components while it is open. Removing the Hard Drive is not necessary. Power up the computer to be sure it works before adhering the display in position. Had more pictures to share but was limited to 3 only.
