While running across a parking lot, my phone popped out of my hip holster, and landed on the ground, flat on the screen. Sufficed to say, the screen shattered.

The repair went really well. This phone is pretty simple to tear apart. I err on the side of paranoia, so I took my time, which is why it probably took me a lot longer than it may take others.

When I bought my screen, it did not come with the bezel or the buttons. I did not notice the guide mentioning any need to remove the bezel from the old screen, but it's not hard to do. It is a little flimsy, though, so be careful. Its basically held on by adhesive, so a little blast from the heat gun, and I was able to pry it off. Again, be a little careful, because you may melt it if you're too liberal with the heat gun. I don't know for sure, as I had no issues, but I could see it being a problem.
