I had shattered my screen, but everything else worked great on my iphone 5c. I did not want to pay 150 for the repair to be completed, and thought for 1/2 that price, I would try it myself

The replacement of the screen went smoothly, very easy to complete with the tools that came in the kit I bought and the step by step online guard

我的建议

The not so good part, while prying open the phone to replace the front screen assembly, I hit one of the little gold prongs for the home button. Thus I had a perfect screen, but now my home button didn't work at all. This would require another part for about $40, so I decided just to activate the onscreen home button, for the rest of the life of the phone.
