电子设备简介
In March 2012 Apple began shipping a new version of the iPad 2 Wi-Fi available only in the 16 GB capacity. Externally, the new model can be identified by the EMC number located on the back of the iPad.
Internally, this version has a physically smaller 32 nm 1 GHz "dual core" A5 processor and is only available with 16 GB of flash memory. Like the previous version, it has a 1024x768, 132 ppi display, front and rear mounted cameras, and 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi support in a 0.34 inch thick, 1.33 pound glass and aluminum case with a black or white front and an aluminum back.
The most commonly needed repairs for the second generation iPad are cracked screens and dead battery replacements. iFixit has the best 2nd Gen iPad displays and 2nd Gen iPad batteries on the market, along with a complete catalog of other second generation iPad parts for the less common part swaps.
All first generation iPad repairs will require a set of standard precision electronics tools. Any repair that involves removing the front panel will require iPad 2 adhesive strips to ensure a full coverage and secure bond between replaced parts. All iFixit Fix Kits come with all tools and adhesive needed to complete the desired repair.
Once all parts and tools have been acquired, head to iFixit’s iPad 2 repair guides for step-by-step instructions on how to complete your desired repair.
