Trackpad, keyboard failure. Dark mode boot.
Hi Guys, My MacBook Air is broken. :(
I went to Indonesia for few weeks (it was very humid), It was working fine until it just turned off in the middle of surfing the net on its own. It didn't turn on for roughly 15 minutes. I tried everything pressing the power button for long time, SMC Reset (the light on the MagSafe went green and back to orange) but it didn't turn on, so I left it open. In roughly 5min it turned its self on, I heard the charm, and it worked for another 15 minutes and than it turned its self off, never turn back on again. I tried SMC (same result MagSafe and keyboard working) still did't turn on. I've opened and cleaned it (no luck). I thought my poor MacBook Air is dead.
So I took it to the service center (non Official) they gave me a pretty big price of 300$ because they said that they will change my processor and fix the one of the power bridges.
In one week time I receive my MacBook Air back. It turned on but my touchpad and keyboard wasn't working. I opened it up and found out that one of the chips on the trackpad (right underneath connector to the motherboard) is overheating (burning) and it looks damaged same as the wire that was connecting to the motherboard (but I can use the power button and even do the SMC). Also it seems that they hadn't changed the processor because there was factory silicone around it.
I've disconnected the touchpad, and connected my bluetooth mouse and keyboard. It started to boot up in Dark Mode (black screen, Apple Logo with loading bar at the bottom). Once it's loaded it is very slow.
I checked the CPU. It had Kernel task (80%). I've updated OS to the El Capitan it didn't help, I've deleted .kext file and kernel_panic stopped but my notebook still has issues with FPS when playing or watching movies (witch I never had before).
What can I do to make my FPS to be back to normal.
Thank you very much
