  • Make sure you spend at least 5 minutes heating up the adhesive. Prying off the LCD Display too early can result in cracking the glass.

  • Using a heat gun or hairdryer, apply heat approximately three inches above the LCD Display to warm up the adhesive around the outside edge of the phone.

  • Make sure to apply heat evenly across the outside edge of the device. You may also use an iOpener to apply heat evenly along the perimeter of the screen.
