Disconnect the battery

  • Insert the point of a spudger under the edge of the battery connector head opposite of the cable.

  • There's a surface-mounted component close to the connector. Be careful not to touch it with your spudger!

  • Lift up the connector with the spudger to separate the rest of the coating and disconnect the battery.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the connector head and its socket for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating, heating the area when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating so the connector head sits properly in its socket.

Koppel de batterij los

Steek de punt van een spudger onder de rand van de batterijaansluiting die tegenover de kabel zit.

Er bevindt zich vlakbij de aansluiting een op de printplaat bevestigd onderdeel. Zorg dat je dit onderdeel niet aanraakt met je spudger!

Duw de aansluiting met je spudger omhoog om de rest van de coating los te trekken en de batterij los te koppelen.

Bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je toestel:

Controleer je de aansluiting en het contact op resten van de coating die een goede aansluiting in de weg kunnen zitten.

Verwijder je alle resten van de coating. Verwarm de coating als het te broos is om te verwijderen.

Het hoeft er allemaal niet mooi uit te zien! Het belangrijkste is dat je voldoende van de coating verwijdert, zodat je de aansluiting goed aan kunt sluiten in het contact.
