Reference the PDF to guide you. This copy has been re-ordered to assist you, so you should only have to scroll downward. (PDF contains reassembly steps following the disassembly steps.) I had to reorder the pages manually because I kept getting lost hopping to different sections in the manual to complete the steps in order.

You may skip certain steps according to commenters, but that is not what is recommended by the service manual. Your mileage may vary; obviously one way is easier than the other (remove less parts) but there must be a reason the guide recommends almost complete disassembly... again, YMMV.
