My ipod 4th gen does not have the little flap on the cable/logic board. Any ideas how to re-attach?

Pic 7. whats the second ribbon cable terminal for? I broke ribbon clamping mechanism, is it possible to fix that?

I think I broke something, I suppose the clamping mechanism. I mean the black flap is open 90 degrees but when I close it it does not clamp to anything
