This guide will show you the steps of how to replace the slats of a vertical blind. The frequent use of a vertical blind can cause the slats to be loose or dirty. To help you avoid the cost of hiring a professional, this guide will show you the details of how to easily replace them. Note that if your clips of blinds are old or rusty, it may be difficult to remove, and you may need to apply a bit more force. Also, check If there is a decorative valance on the blind. If your blind has a decorative valance, carefully remove it by unclipping or unscrewing it from headrail.

Remove the old slat by lifting it upwards.

Once lifted, gently pull the slat toward you to remove it completely from the clip.

Adjust and ensure the curve of the new slat is facing the same direction as the other old slats.
