Look for the black plastic cover with ridges on the top of the brush cutter. Your fingers should be enough to pull the plastic off, but you may use a flat head screwdriver instead.

Lift and separate the black plastic ridge covering from the spark plug..
Notice the spark plug still attached inside.

Use a 3/8 in wrench to grip and twist the spark plug counterclockwise until it loosens and take it out.
You can use slip-joint pliers to perform the removal of the spark plug if you don't have a wrench.

Insert the new spark plug and twist it in a clockwise motion until it is tight.

Use the wrench or pliers and twist the spark plug in a clockwise direction to ensure a tight fit before placing the cover on top of the spark plug.

Attach the bottom of the plastic cover to the top of the spark plug.
Firmly push down on top of the spark plug with the cover. This is enough pressure to connect the new spark plug to the machine.
