    • Using a drill, drill out enough of the rivet head so that the rivet may be removed.

    • If the rivet spins, use pliers or a flat head screw driver to hold the rivet in place

    • Once you have dissembled the legs and spreader struts

    • Cut spreader strut to 200mm

    • use a punch to mark the centre of the spreader strut

    • drill 6mm hole through spreader strut

    • round end off to replicate the original end, with a file
