Clean the leg that's damaged/needs maintenance.

Extend the part of the leg you will replace and/or clean.

Use the center punch and hammer to tap the pin out of the locking mechanism hinge.
Remove the locking mechanism lever.

Remove the leg piece from the main body.

Use the center punch and hammer to tap the pin out of the locking hinge on the opposite side of the damaged leg.
Remove the lever from the locking mechanism.

Slide the locking hinge off the broken leg.
