How to fix a torn piece of fabric

Sew and needle was the first form of sewing that was invented before sewing machines. The only requirements needed are a sewing needle, thread to match the fabric you are repairing and come patience. The only hazard when preforming this is making sure not to pock your finger while sowing. This is a needed skill to know because most don't know how to use sowing machines so it is an easy in home solution to torn fabrics.

The tools needed are in the following pictures. Make sure the fabric you are using matches the fabric being repaired if its clothing.

Press the thread through the hole of the needle. Getting the end of the needle wet will help it through easier. Once that is done make a firm knot to hold it in place.

Place the new fabric on top of the torn fabric and poke the needle through the end of the tear. Make sure to make a knot to hold the first incision through.
