Take the half with the buttons and use your fingernails to take out the button pad.

Put the screwdriver in between the battery and the remote cover.
Push the screwdriver down which will make the battery pop out of the remote cover.

Get your new battery and locate the positive side.
Put the positive side facing down towards the cover.
Click it into its position.
Take the other half of the remote and put the case back together.

Turn the car on.
Turn the car off.
Repeat this eight times.
Do not turn on the engine.
Stop on the eighth time with the key turning the car on.

Then press any button on the remote to pair with the car.
