This guide will show you how to replace a cracked or damaged digitizer and lcd in your HTC One Mini

  1. Use a plastic opening tool to remove the bottom speaker cover

    • Use opening tool to gently lift the edges of the screen away from the body working from the top down.

    • Don't try to remove the bottom of the screen as your flex cables are there and still attached to the logic board

  5. Undo the 2 Phillips screws circled in red and detach the battery connector (so we don't short anything out)

    • Don't remove any of this sheilding tape, I have only removed it to show you that there is nothing under there and I have replaced it during reassembly

  7. Fold the screen away from the body keeping in mind not to damage the flex cables.

    • Add your strips of adhesive tape to the frame and put put the screen onto the body (I have highlighted the placement areas in blue)

    • You will have to cut the tape in half for the sides of the screen. Using a razor blade and a metal ruler will give best results.

    • Follow the steps in reverse for reassembly and use a couple of drops of super glue to put the front speaker cover back on
